For the eighth installment in the Fast & Furious franchise, Dom is back and so is the awe-inspiring Dodge Charger. It’s not the Charger you’re thinking about, though.

The signature car of Dominic Toretto has always been the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, the car totaled by a train in the first movie. In Furious 7, Dom drives a different Charger, a car so heavily modified you can barely call it a Charger. Thankfully, though, the car Dom will be driving in Fast 8 appears to be a stock affair.

There’s no honking great Roots-style supercharger towering above the hood, nor does it have off-road credentials like the Charger from Furious 7. Only the wheels appear to be aftermarket. Otherwise, it is stock.

What else can we learn from this poster for Fast 8? Well, we’re told to expect “new roads ahead.” I hope I’m not reading too much into this, but you know how Furious 7 ends. I won’t spoil the movie for those who haven’t seen it, albeit the truth of the matter is that the death of Paul Walker changes the course of the franchise. The absence of Paul Walker from the poster is another tell-tale sign of what we should expect.

What else do we know about the eighth movie other than the fact it’s due on April 14, 2017? For starters, there will be plenty of cool actors in it. Charlize Theron will be the baddie, Clint Eastwood’s son will play the protege of Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell), and the list goes on and on and on. A previous poster shared by Vin Diesel features New York City’s skyline. In other words, the Big Apple will be central to the movie.

In related news, Vin Diesel is working on the third film in the xXx franchise. The action-packed movie is slated to be released on January 19, 2017, in Germany and January 20, 2017, in the United States.
