Auto Express have reported that Vauxhall plan to launch a electric Corsa wearing the VXR badge, as early as 2021.
Vauxhall was the largest selling manufacturer in Scotland in 2018, according to figures released today by the Scottish Motor Trade Association. The manufacturer has been number one in the region for the last 11 years.
Vauxhall is urging customers to ditch the in-laws and hot foot it down to its New Year Sales event running from Boxing Day to Monday 7th January 2019.
Vauxhall will embark on an electric-focused technology drive, which will transform its range over the next two years at a similar rate to its first heady days as a car manufacturer at the start of the last century.(more…)

Since 2007, the hottest model in the Corsa lineup has been the VXR. However, Vauxhall pulled the plug on the 204hp version of the Corsa due to emission regulations. This makes the new GSi the fastest derivative of the popular supermini available today.
Vauxhall retailers are offering customers £500* towards the cost of a new ADAM or Corsa model when they book a test drive during August and September. The Test Drive programme will take place at Vauxhall retailers nationwide and applies to selected ADAM or Corsa models purchased and registered between now and 30th September. (more…)
